Architectural Designer Job in Regents Park, London

Seeking an Architectural Designer with Vectorworks and BIM knowledge to work on bespoke residential properties in Central London!

This architectural and interior design practice is currently a team of 12, based in Regents Park, our client has been growing and developing their portfolio of work within the bespoke residential and commercial sector. Due to their ongoing success, they now require an Architectural Designer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis to work on bespoke residential homes in Central London.

Role & Responsibilities

  • The development and coordination of a bespoke home in Central London
  • Using Vectorworks BIM to a high standard daily
  • Taking this project and other projects from concept design through to construction stages
  • Preparing, developing, and editing concept drawings, models, images, or other documentation related to the design
  • Coordinate with and review information from the wider design team, consultants, contractors, and clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Expert knowledge in Vectorworks 2D and BIM Level 2 is essential for this role, applicants must be able to coordinate and manage BIM project data sets, workflow, and project setups
  • 3D software knowledge using Rhino or SketchUp
  • Experience in construction documentation including detailing, scheduling, and the production of specification documentation
  • Previous experience working on bespoke residential projects from RIBA stages 0 - 7
  • The ability to detail joinery as well as specify fittings (bespoke materials, fabrics, furnishings, etc.)

What you get back

  • Salary of £30,000 - £40,000
