Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Kier Places are recruiting today for a Multi-Skilled Engineer, where your role will be key to supporting the delivery of a Facilities Management Hard Technical Services solution for our prestigious client, the Ministry of Justice, across sites in the Oxfordshire & surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
As a focused and reactive Multi-Skilled Engineer you will deliver a combination of electrical, mechanical, water and building fabric Planned, Reactive and extra works engineering services, across a region to multiple client sites including Approved Premises & Probation Offices. You will be assisting in ensuring Kier deliver a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient and compliant service in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations.
This will involve completing quoted works such as EML testing, tap temperature testing, expansion vessel PPM, extractor fan PPM, shower descales, pipework checks, ducting inspections, kitchen grease filter cleaning, monthly generator testing, and general PPM duties.
What do we need from you?
The successful Multi-Skilled Engineer for this role should be competent in general engineer works, with a multi-skilled background and bias towards electrical or plumbing trades with relevant qualifications, ideally also PASMA / IPAF certification, and L8 Legionella awareness.
Due to the nature of this role, you should have a full UK driving licence, and be prepared to conduct call-out & standby as needed, including weekends. This is currently 1 week in 4.
