General Operative Full time Kemnay Quarry, Aberdeenshire

Breedon are currently seeking to recruit a General Operatives within our Building Products business based in Kemnay in North East Scotland, Highlands Region. As part of the Operations Team, reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be a practical 'hands on' position and you will become fully aware of the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies and ensure they are adhered to at all times.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to; hand dressing and stacking blocks, maintaining a tidy and safe workplace and general operative duties including possible training to operate automated plant.

You will have a flexible, proactive and versatile approach to work. You will have the ability to use your own initiative in a fast-paced environment and be an excellent communicator. Ideally you will have a Forklift Licence and a Shovel Licence, although this is not essential as training and development will be given to candidates who can demonstrate the necessary skills and aptitude to take on this challenging role.

This position is ideal for a highly motivated person with experience of block plant operations preferably with knowledge of concrete.
