Assistant Quarry Manager Full time, permanent - Competitive Salary Craigenlow, Aberdeenshire

Breedon are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Quarry Manager based at Craigenlow Quarry in the North East Scotland Region. As part of the Operations Team the Assistant Quarry Manager will support the Quarry Manager who is responsible for the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry, covering the aggregate, asphalt & ready-mix concrete production.

The Assistant Quarry Manager will supervise all the day to day operations and have a "hands on" role to ensure the timeliest and cost-effective production of all materials produced on site.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:-

* Responsible for any statutory procedures and reporting, in line with the license to operate the quarry

* Responsible for the monitoring of the condition of plant and its performance whilst ensuring the effective use of maintenance services to ensure its ongoing capability therefore, working with preventative maintenance schedules

* To ensure focus on production i.e. targets and quality to achieve the agreed customer requirements and specification

Working as part of a team, you will have a flexible proactive approach to establish high standards of work performance, optimum product quality and promote quality control, safety programmes and regulatory compliance.
