We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to support the team in delivering a broad range of engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting role you'll support the engineering side of the business by carrying out several important support functions. You'll be responsible for the resourcing and project delivery on large -disciplinary schemes. This will involve receiving design briefs, assigning resource and tracking the progress of work, keeping our clients informed as required. You'll be required to attend progress meetings with the client and be able to clearly communicate the current status of the work and request any further clarifications or information on behalf of the design team. You will also be required to provide input on a monthly basis for commercial monitoring and invoicing.
What are we looking for?
A highly organised and competent individual with previous relevant experience. You'll have experience of working to tight deadlines and excellent communication skills. You'll be a trusted relationship builder and able to work with internal and external stakeholders, under your own initiative and as part of a wider team.
You will ideally have a higher education qualification, such as an HND or degree in a relevant subject.
Career progression is actively encouraged and supported within KPS. Learning and development for those with an interest in becoming involved the engineering side of the business can be provided. This could potentially lead to progression into a technician or engineer role for a candidate with suitable aptitude.
