Protocol are working in the Greater Manchester area to recruit for a Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer. The position is offering full time hours (37hrs per week) and will run on a temporary basis within the college.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about Carpentry and Joinery and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Carpentry and Joinery, experience of teaching up to level 3, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.
Within this role you will be delivering to Level 3 carpentry and joinery students, Preparing interactive and engaging sessions, helping students progress in their work by analysing their needs and helping them achieve and also demonstrating and overseeing practical work whilst setting and grading theory assessments.
Have you got what it takes?
* Hold a level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery
* Has relevant teaching qualifications.
* Have previously taught level 3 learners
* Ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners.
You'll also need to undertake Safeguarding and Prevent training, as well as apply for an Enhanced DBS Certificate, unless you've already registered on the update service.
