Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery of regional reactive maintenance work activities as directed by the NCM, including providing cover for planned leave along with the control and management of specialist sub-contract activities including, but not limited to line of sight, arboreal, asbestos, pest control, fire suppression and generator activities.
In this role you will be dealing with clients, landlords, directly employed personnel and specialist third party suppliers ensuring a good relationship is maintained and that they are following the requirements as set out within the relevant scope of service documentation.
You will control and update assigned task flow and associated staff. Control and update assigned third party activities & specialist sub-contractors. Ensure compliances with Kier internal audit regime, client specified audit requirements and to all quality and safety standards via in-progress and retro checking regimes. You will need to Liaise with Local Authorities, Landlords, Clients, specialist contractors and subcontractors. You will complete site specific risk assessments and method statements. Carry out site audits continually promoting a high standard of health and safety/technical Compliance and ensure operatives have correct accreditations.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role you will have good people management and planning skills with a basic understanding of relevant contract terms and conditions. You will have the ability to liaise effectively with Client, Management teams, local authorities, landowners and planning resources and be able to plan and chair meetings. You should also have good computer skills in Excel and a full UK Driving licence.
Ideally you will have experience in all workstreams on the Kier/Ericsson Contract, commercial awareness and experience of managing Sub-Contractor companies. You will have IOSH/Health &Safety at Work - Knowledge of regulations and requirements, ADCBuild Knowledge, MEWPs for Managers, ECM / CPA
