Internal Auditor Breedon on the Hill, Derby Full-time, permanent: competitive salary Role overview

Breedon are currently seeking an Internal Auditor to be based at Breedon on the Hill, Derby.

The role will involve managing an internal audit program for our quarry, asphalt plant and concrete plant sites, with input into external audits.

The position will require review of non-conformity management and input into management reports.

Working in this busy environment, you must be highly organised and have an environmental or quality qualification, preferably with experience of ISO9001 or 14001 accreditation systems.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with strong attention to detail and analytical/IT skills.

The role will have a flexible work pattern, including overnight stays.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out internal audits throughout the business (on site and remote)
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • Management of non-conformity and corrective action system
  • Advise and support management team on quality and environmental management
