Interim Head of Order to Cash - West Midlands - Circa £650/700 per day outside IR35

I have an immediate requirement for an interim to join a mid to large organisation as Interim Head of Order to Cash for an initial period of 6 months. Reporting directly to the Shared Services Lead you will be responsible for delivering a turnaround plan in a business moving through a period of significant change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team leadership, training and development of Credit Control function
  • Provide day to day leadership of the O2C team including one to ones, performance reviews, objective setting etc…
  • Operational and strategic credit management and customer billing
  • Delivering the O2C transformation plan
  • Develop a framework to support the change agenda
  • Act as a change agent for all change activities that the SSC
  • Developing a best-in-class function
  • Cash collection, cash allocation and timely customer billing
  • Process improvement across operations and reporting to drive efficiency's
  • Ensure cash received is posted on a timely basis
  • Establish and review credit and collection policies and manage the full cycle of credit
  • Ensuring focus is maintained in key areas including cash collection and debtor days
  • Deliver strong control framework in line with SOX controls
  • Ensure all customer invoices are raised and dispatched in line with agreed internal service level agreements
  • Review the technology platform to drive standardisation across O2C
  • Ensure all processes are optimised and waste is eliminated

Candidate Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in an O2C Shared Services role
  • Experienced O2C leader
  • Leading through change
  • Driving change
  • 10 years+ experience
  • Large complex company background
  • Strong operational, control and process knowledge
  • Strong influencing skills and high levels of resilience and determination
  • Knowledge of SOX
