From urban regeneration and commercial developments, through to cutting-edge laboratories and large-scale public sector facilities, we build and renew spaces for healing, learning, trading, protecting and discovering.

Kier Strategic Projects is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team for delivery of major projects (£150m +) within the Custodial, Defence, Aviation, Science and Commercial Sectors.


Key Responsibilities

As a member of the core project management team, reporting directly to the Project / Operations Director, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing resources (people, finance and physical assets) in order to fulfil the assigned project (£150m+) safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and gross profit.

Including the management of clients, consultants and stakeholders, you will advise the wider team on construction methodology, programming and staffing whilst assisting in the preparation of submission and presentation documentation. You will co-ordinate the teams on site to ensure a successful project delivery and ensure compliance of all relevant legislation including Health & Safety and Environment as well as company procedural requirements.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to promote the wellbeing of your teams and ensure that an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience is actively encouraged and achieved.

As you will be leading at a strategic level on complex and high value projects, we will be looking for extensive history on similar profile projects of £150m+.
