Location: Bristol
Business Area: Kier Utilities- Western Power Distribution
Kier work as part of a framework for Western Power Distribution to ensure its customers have power in their homes, businesses, schools and hospitals. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team to support on our contract in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure commercially our tenders/jobs are assessed correctly and risks identified
- Procurement of subcontractors ensuring they are in line with Kier procedures
- Ensure cash flow is maximised and chase outstanding invoices with the Client
- Run weekly Cost and Plant reports and review with operations highlighting any variance from Average
- Assist the Senior QS and Team with month end reporting
We are seeking candidates who:
- Hold a Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
- Hold experience working with a variety of construction contracts
