Specialist Flat Roof Estimator - reporting to the Estimating Director - mainly office based. We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Must have roofing estimating experience ideally single ply, flat roofing (Sarnafil knowledge useful though other product knowledge welcome)
- Sufficiently experienced to make an immediate contribution ie not a trainee
- Good understanding of new build and refurbishment design and logistical considerations
- Knowledge of regulation compliance
- Proven track record of sales and opportunity management
- Confident to handover and explain secured quotes to contract managers
- Experience of issuing and managing variation cost
- Microsoft Office literacy essential
- Lives within a sustainable, commutable distance to Reading, with own transport
- Positive and friendly attitude working within a professional office - the role is predominantly office based, very few site visits

- One of four companies within a specialist construction group and undertake flat roofs of all types, sizes, and complexity including Green and Brown Roofs
- Product offering is Sika Sarnafil - currently looking to add other products
- Based just outside Reading town centre, we operate predominantly in the South ie West London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Middlesex, Surrey, Hampshire
- Client base is diverse - domestic and commercial divisions - and have a gained a reputation for specialising in more complex and interesting projects
- The company are a small company - 5 in the office and 15 on the roofs with the majority of our labour being directly employed - benefitting from a loyal, skillful and long serving workforce

Our client are a very supportive firm who's staff retention is excellent, 70 staff all based in the office just outside of Reading town centre. Whilst the roofing side is relatively small it is part of a bigger group who are very passionate about the specialist work they undertake and is a very interesting place to work.
