Position: Project Engineer

Location: Donegal

Salary: Excellent Salary + Performance Bonus + On Site Parking + Overtime Pay

Responsibilities

  • Attend the Project Handover meeting in QDI Office with the Estimation Director / Technical Manager to receive a full Project package handover and develop the QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documents for the Site Manager handover meeting.
  • Attend the Project Handover meeting in QDI Office for the Site Manager to issue a full Project package handover pack.
  • Complete SOP 03 requirements in conjunction with the Contracts Manager / Project Manager.
  • Assist the Contracts Manager in producing a Programme of works for the project.
  • Work alongside the office Technical & Procurement Managers to review the Plant Packages prior to ordering.
  • Assist in Co-ordinating mechanical services and builders work drawings in conjunction with the Site Manager / Project Manager
  • Manage and delivery of the Quality Assured Doc's as set out in the S.O.P 05 QA Document Milestones.
  • Document Control. This shall include but not be limited to:
  • Drawing's b) RFI's c) Tech Sub Log d) Schedules e) QA Packs ….
  • Assist site management with project variations where deemed necessary.
  • Assist in the O&M development and delivery.
  • Commissioning process: With the assistance of the Site Managements. Assist in the commissioning programme production & revisions / organising Specialist Sub Contractor & Supplier attendance / issue of commissioning RAMS / management of Specialist Sub Contractor & Supplier commissioning and delivery of " clean " certs / Uploading of certs to relevant File Sharing platforms and O&M.

Requirements

  • Education: Advanced/Higher Certificate (required
  • Experience: Project management: 4 years (required) / Engineering: 8 years (preferred)
