Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Opportunity to work from home as well as office based in Lutterworth

Business Area: Kier Utilities- Western Power Distribution

Contract: Permanent- Full Time

Kier work as part of a framework with Western Power Distribution to ensure its customers have power in their homes, businesses, schools and hospitals

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team to assist with the control of costs, maximise value, minimise future liabilities, and maintain the standard of quality & safety on an allocated programme area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure commercially our tenders/ jobs are assessed correctly and risks are identified
  • Run weekly Cost and Plant reports and review with operations to highlight variance from Average
  • Liaise with the project teams to carry out reviews of progress against contract margins
  • Assist the Senior QS and Team with month end reporting
What do we need from you?

  • Hold a Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience working with variety of construction contracts
  • Sound Commercial and business knowledge
