Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Location: This is an agile role where you will be based out of our Waterbeach office in Cambridge, with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites
Business area: Kier Construction Eastern and Midlands
Contract: Permanent, full time or part time.

Kier Construction is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager for our Eastern and Midlands region, who will report to the Commercial Director and Procurement Lead. The successful post-holder will focus on developing sourcing strategies which ensure Kier and its strategic suppliers and sub-contractors gain competitive advantage within the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop sourcing strategies which ensure Kier, its strategic suppliers and sub-contractors gain competitive advantage within the marketplace. Will be able to develop and manage the interface between Group Procurement. To maintain compliance with the supply strategy, purchasing agreements, frameworks, specification and procedures. Also, to provide support on all supply chain matters.

What do we need from you?

The candidate must have demonstrable procurement proficiency of both materials and sub-contractors. You will have a background of successful supply chain delivery. An experience of negotiating and managing group framework agreements with suppliers, manufacturers and sub-contractors. You will also have excellent communication and stakeholder management.
