Assistant Building Surveyor Job in Woolwich, London
My client is an established multidisciplinary consultancy with long-standing client relationships, due to an influx of work within their Building Surveying team, they require an Assistant Building Surveyor based at their office in Woolwich, London. To be considered for the role of Assistant Building Surveyor, you must have 2+ years' experience as a Building Surveyor, residential new build experience and from a consultancy background. The role offers a salary of up to £35,000 + Travel + Support with APC.
The consultancy is growing due to an influx of projects in the residential, commercial and education sectors. They offer services across architecture, design management, building surveying, quantity surveying, project management and asset management. They provide a clear progression route as well as offering continual training and support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Working on new build residential projects from inception to completion
- Assist with the preparation of specifications, liaising with the architectural teams
- Employers Agent duties
- Contract administration
- Attend site with Senior Building Surveyors, carrying out Site surveys and investigations
- Client liaison
- Liaise with sub-contractors and consultants
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years' experience within building surveying
- Consultancy background
- Experienced in new build residential projects
- RICS Accredited Degree in Building Surveying or similar Degree
- Keen to pursue the APC Pathway
- Ability to travel to sites across the South-East
- UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
