Kier Professional Services (KPS) are an exclusive in-house resource, providing readily available expert advice to support understanding and resolution of technical project issues in temporary and permanent works. KPS are able to quickly mobilise resources to support project delivery and consistently deliver a dependable design service for buildability and safety.
We are Kier, one the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for an Assistant Engineer to join our Kier Professional Services team in Leeds to contribute to the delivery of a broad range of complex Civil and Structural and related services in both temporary and permanent works.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you'll support the team with both Permanent and Temporary Works designs for buildings, highways, and infrastructure. You'll also provide tender and bid winning support including design schemes, feasibility studies, production, and evaluation of concepts. You'll review 3rd party designs and contribute to the design deliverables including calculations and design risk assessments, whilst ensuring design concepts comply with the legal requirements and Company policy procedures.
What do we need from you?
A dedicated individual with strong attention to detail. Ideally, you'll have minimum years post-graduate experience and a valid CSCS card.
