Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Location: This is an agile role where you will be based out of our Waterbeach office in Cambridge, with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites
Business area: Kier Construction Eastern and Midlands
Contract: Permanent, full time or part time.

Kier Construction is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager for our Eastern and Midlands region, who will report to the ­­­­Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop a structured supply chain appropriate to the current and future needs of the region whilst being the primary point of contact to our preferred supply chain. For each tender and live project, you will ensure a robust procurement and supply chain strategy is developed, whilst reviewing the continuous performance from pre-construction to construction stage. You will be expected to lead subcontractor supply chain engagement activities ensuring all preferred relationships have clear owners, regular B2B's are carried out, and that our supply chain capabilities are fully understood. An ability to identify and understand risks and opportunities within the supply chain will be crucial.

What do we need from you?

In-depth supply chain management and delivery experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management is essential whilst knowledge of the construction industry is advantageous.
