Job Title: Planner
Location: Base location in Hatherleigh with some travel to other office and sites
Business Area: Kier Utilities
Contract/ Hours: Permanent- Full Time

Kier and its Alliance with South West Water are passionate about water. We help to provide clean and wastewater services to c. 1.7 million people in Cornwall, Devon, and parts of Somerset and Dorset. We are looking for a Planner to join the team to provide project planning support for all aspects of the designated business stream activities from pre-tender to final account stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the contractors plan in accordance with the contract
- Communicate programme performance, time and outcomes in a timely way with stakeholders and the Project Managers
- Develop the tender programme into a fully integrated design, procurement and project programme in co-ordination with the site management team
- Attend tender handover meetings, discuss about the methodology and programme strategy and describe potential targets that can be achieved as well as suggesting improvements
- Hold experience of programme delivery within the water industry including civil, mechanical & electrical
- Hold relevant qualification (i.e. minimum of HNC/ HND in relevant discipline)
- Hold experience in leadership, resource allocation and general management
