Contracting Technician
Breedon are currently seeking a Contracting Technician based around the Midlands area. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor and Technical Manager you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of routine quality control testing of asphalt type material supplied to our contracting division; Breedon Surfacing Solutions.
This shall include routine testing of all site activities performed by Breedon Surfacing Solutions within the parameters of the relevant standards and documented QA procedures.
The key accountabilities of the role are:
It is essential that you possess five GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English, at grade A-C, and hold a full driving licence. You will have technical experience, with appropriate skills in practical application of routine sampling and testing procedures and UKAS requirements.
A working knowledge of Word/Excel is essential, operational use and working knowledge of database/LIMS systems such as Gradlab/Lastrada is desirable.
