Kier Places have an excellent opportunity for a Resource Plannerto join our Housing Maintenance team in Gosport to schedule repairs and maintenance works for clients, organising schedules, travel & accommodation for our operatives, and take full responsibility for works orders process in order to meet service delivery & maintain key relationships.


Key Responsibilities

As a Resource Planner we will look to you to oversee & schedule a team of operatives plus specialist subcontractors; liaise with clients for access arrangements; maintain effective work systems & documentation compliance; work to service level agreements for all enquiries, whilst working to established processes & procedures; and manage the Servitor Repairs Management systems.

In this post Resource Planner, you'll play a key role in a customer centric service delivery - providing a first point of contact for our client, key stakeholders and the operational team. Your day to day activities will include taking repair and maintenance requests, checking availability of resources, and scheduling for the necessary work to be undertaken.


What do we need from you?

The opportunity is yours for the taking, if you have - strong experience in a similar scheduler, coordinating or planner role in order to manage and plan our engineers, labour operatives, and specialist subcontractors. Ideally, you'll have relevant industry experience relating to maintenance & repairs; and you should be a proactive, resourceful, confident & driven person, continuously looking to improve.

The ideal Coordinator / Scheduler / Resource Controller will have outstanding customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise work, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Previous experience within the repairs & maintenance sector is highly desirable, as well as experience in a scheduling capacity, and knowledge of Opti Time, CRMs, and job booking systems, but training can be provided.
