Kier Construction are looking for an Aftercare Manager to support the regional business in reducing defects across our live projects, as well as managing key stakeholders throughout the defect periods for all completed projects.
Key Responsibilities
Being solely responsible for the aftercare of projects for the Solent office, you will be doing the day to day running of aftercare and legacy projects, whilst meeting Kier standards in terms of safety, quality and customer satisfaction. With a priority to drive improvement across our project teams on preventing defects, liaison with the project teams and supply chain will be vital as well as reviewing reports to identify defect trends. You will work closely with the commercial team to ensure all defect costs are recovered alongside instigating and managing 3-month project health checks. To contribute to our business delivering excellence you will ensure client and customer relationships are maintained and expectations exceeded.
What do we need from you?
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills ensuring relationships are fostered with stakeholders (internal & external) at all times. Competent in the use of basic IT software packages such as ASTA, Word & Excel, the candidate will also have a broad experience in all aspects of construction and will relish the challenge of problem solving in regard to resolving defects. The successful applicant will demonstrate their awareness of commercial risk and risk management in general, they will also be comfortable working with minimal supervision, while delivering exceptional results for the business.
