Daniel Owen Ltd are currently looking for a Document Controller to take on a permanent role for a well-known Construction company based in Glasgow.
Main duties:
- Oversee and coordinate general office administration including maintaining administrative and document control systems
- Maintain paper data in the site office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability
- Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project
- Organise, manage and file document receipts and distribution lists, project documents and drawings in conjunction with project and corporate naming and numbering procedure
- Undertake all general office administrative duties in an efficient manner (this includes, but is not limited to, the coordination, compilation and transcribe of meetings and meeting rooms, typing reports and meeting minutes for the project team, answering calls, enquiries and requests with all parties, reception duties which may include answering turnstile phones, greeting and logging visitors)
- Create, modify and control documents/data such as invoices, reports, memos, letters and financial using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software such as Microsoft Office, SIMS, Viewpoint 4Projects
- May conduct research, compile data and prepare papers for consideration and presentation to the management team using internal systems
- Control and maintain on-site turnstile/security system including sending out pre-enrolment registration requests
- Ordering and control of site stationery
- Other additional project administration/document control/project-based duties as required
Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience working with a main contractor or similar.
- Experience using document control software, Viewpoint4Projects preferred.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly with MS packages
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.

Salary: £27,000+ depending on experience
