Entrepreneurial firm of International MEP Consultancy Engineers are seeking to hire a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a skilled division within their established London office. You will join the mission critical team in an organisation over 140 employees strong, circa 20 of which are based from London focused into the Technology sector.

Joining at an important stage of this division's development the opportunity suits an Electrical Design Engineer who is confident within a client facing role and is seeking the chance to design critical facilities ranging up to 80MW

Roles:

Design electrical systems/equipment to provide for a useful and safe workplace.

Advise clients regarding electrical systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.

Monitor installation of designed equipment/systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety codes.

Participate in developing the design criteria for protective device coordination, relay applications, medium voltage transformers, switchgear, medium and low voltage distribution.

Reviews electrical designs and specifications of equipment or systems being purchased or fabricated.

Mentor younger engineers



Electrical Design Engineers who are seeking to be considered will need to fulfil the following criteria;

Expertise in the design of electrical building services systems to include lighting, access control, power distribution, lighting protection,

Gained at least 4 years experience working within a Consultancy role as an Electrical Design Engineer,

Confident in performing a client facing role attending site / project / design meetings,

Hold formal qualifications to at least HNC / HND level in building services or electrical engineering
