We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services.
We are now recruiting for a Planner to join our Utilities team on the Network Service Alliance (NSA) contract in Exeter to monitor all reports to maintain workbasket levels within stated performance levels whilst balancing a dynamic workforce and work with other Planners in all NSA's to best utilise available resource.
Key Responsibilities
As a Planner on our Repair and Maintenance contract, your role will involve day to day planning and co-ordination for all site resources and workstreams in the NSA area, customer communication regarding planned and reactive work, to ensure all business processes are followed and recording all necessary information in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for monitoring all reports to maintain workbasket levels within stated performance levels whilst balancing a dynamic workforce and work with other Planners to best utilise available resource.
What do we need from you?
Ideally you will have experience of planning/scheduling for Utilities contracts, you must be calm under pressure, be able to multi-task, work well as part of a team but most importantly you must be enthusiastic and have a desire to succeed. Experience within the Water industry and of Streetwork regulation would be highly advantageous.
