We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a Senior Planner to join our Kier Infrastructure Major Projects team in Mogden to be responsible for the planning and programming for our large complex within Civil and Rail Infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

This exciting Senior Planner role will offer an individual the opportunity to be involved in the end to end process. As a Senior Planner you will be responsible for reviewing all documentation, identifying key data and presenting this to the team. You'll be developing construction strategies and methodologies as well as producing logistics strategies for each project. Creating comprehensive programmes that reflect the scope and strategy of the project, combined with appropriate assessments of risks and issues will be key focus for this role. Taking lead in communicating the effects of programme schedules to the project team and attending 3rd party presentations and meetings, together with presenting programmes and methodologies where appropriate.

What do we need from you?

An experienced Senior Planner that engages with the tender team, delivers key outputs to prescribed deadlines and constructively challenges to ensure excellence in all bid materials. You'll be able to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders and confidently present to managers. Experience in Civil Infrastructures, Rail and design/construct projects will be required. The candidate will need to have knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6, NEC Contract Form and QSRA.
