Position: Technical Support Advisor

Location: Dublin 12

Salary: Neg DOE

The Job: Managing the day-to-day operation of the quotation process from initial contact to operations handover. Working alongside the Service Sales Engineers, provide external support on customer job sites when required. Promote service offerings & campaigns direct with customers, providing technical and pricing support to the sales team and direct to customers through quotation and correspondence for all Service led operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Achieve target quotation hit rate
  • Ensure Qualification process followed with all customers requested dates achieved.
  • Maintain and update the DFSD data base accuracy for all service account customers.
  • Sales Engineers quote rate is increased
  • Orders entered on time and accurately following the clean order process (summarised overleaf)
  • Achieve target quotation hit rate by ensuring all incoming enquiries are qualified, assessed, prioritized and scheduled, customer dates achieved and Customer/Sales Engineer updated on any changes or alternatives to expectations.
  • Manage the TBQ Dashboard and ensure all TBQ's quoted within specified timelines.
  • Ensure all solutions and services selected and quoted to an optimum and competitive standard.
  • Maintain & complete server/SharePoint for all SSE proposals completed.
  • Add value where ever possible, discussing alternatives and add-on with customers and SSEs
  • Ensure close communication/liaison with Service sales engineers on all quotations
  • Ensure all incoming orders technically validated and handed over to Service Operations team within the agreed timescale.
  • Ensure pricing and margins are in full compliance with required authorizations
  • Ensure maintenance renewals are sent out on time and followed up with any issues raised to the area service sales engineer or service leader

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills, including excel, experience with CRM systems and service database management advantage.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry preferential.
  • Has previous experience working in an office environment.
  • Used to working to internal/external sales deadlines.
  • Has experience dealing with customers on the telephone on a daily basis.
  • Has sufficient personality to manage the expectations of a senior sales team, able to prioritise requests & operate a rota system for requests for quotations
  • Technical graduate preferably with certification in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning or proven experience in a similar role
  • Some experience in HVAC business, Technical Services business or similar industry (e.g. direct sales, back-selling, customer service) and technical activity focused on technical products/solutions;
  • Local HVAC or Technical Services market knowledge is a plus
  • Market intelligence and understanding competition
  • Ability to work under pressure
