Architect Job in Harpenden, Hertfordshire

We are now working with a successful Architectural practice that has a new Architect job focused on heritage and residential projects, working from their Hertfordshire office.

My client is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design practice, their successful portfolio is primarily focused on heritage, bespoke residential and hospitality projects. The Hertfordshire office is made up of 6 people and they cover all RIBA stages. Due to continued success, they are currently seeking an experienced Architect to join their team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • The role will focus mainly on the earlier RIBA stages
  • Production on concept and planning drawings
  • Taking a lead role in the running of projects
  • Assisting the Partners in the running of the office
  • Working directly with clients
  • Visiting sites as required
  • Supporting junior members of the team
  • Using AutoCAD daily.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
  • Strong design skills
  • Experience in UK planning regulations would be essential
  • Heritage project experience would be highly beneficial
  • Skilled in the use of AutoCAD, InDesign and SketchUp
  • Due to the location of the office, you will need your own transport.

What you get back

  • Salary of £38,000 - £42,000
  • Hybrid working option available after probation period
