Following an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Director to lead the sales, supply chain and business development functions of our Cement division. You will develop and lead the commercial strategy which will include a focus on market segmentation, key account management, pricing & sales forecasting strategy, digital capability and marketing. Reporting to the ExCO Managing Director, Cement you will be instrumental in driving the shift in our cement product portfolio, transitioning our customers to lower carbon products along with inspiring world class new product development to ensure we deliver on our sustainability ambitions. You will be the Divisional lead for Major Projects (including HS2) and all third party material purchases and supply arrangements. ?What’s on offer? Significant and demonstrable strategic and commercial leadership experience working in a target driven sales environment, delivering very significant sales budgets with the ability to maintain full financial tracking and control. Experience working in a similar industry would be an advantage (although not essential). Ability to engage with and manage stakeholders at senior levels Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility and deliver with impact across an organisation. Detail and results orientated with strong personal values to succeed. Highly organised with demonstrable planning and delivery capabilities.
