Assistant Project Manager Job in Mayfair, London
Assistant Project Manager Job for a residential developer based in Mayfair, London. Our client is looking for an existing Assistant Project Manager or Architectural Assistant to join their team and support the existing Project Manager. The role offers further scope for development along with a starting salary of up to £35k + 15% bonus and flexibility to work remotely some of the time. This is a great chance to join a growing development business and an entrepreneurial and sociable team.
Established in 2008, they develop new build and conversion developments within the prime locations of London, Sussex, Surrey and Kent. The role will be assisting the current Project Manager in both pre-contract and post-contract project management, from procurement and planning through to delivery on site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Occasionally attend site in London / Southeast
- Reporting to the Senior Project Manager / Director
- Assist in the management of several projects across the entire lifecycle of a project including planning, procurement and construction delivery on site
- Assist in the procurement of the different external consultants and contractors including architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, MEP consultants, main contractors etc.
- Assist in management of the design development through the RIBA stages of design
- Attend design team meetings and planning meetings
- Management and keeping organised logistics of existing sites/tenants prior to construction
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years' experience as an Assistant Project Manager or an Architectural Assistant
- Degree qualified in architecture or construction
- Residential Development experience preferred
- Experience working for a developer, consultancy, architecture practice on residential schemes
- Basic understanding of all external consultants and contractors through planning, design, procurement and construction phases
