Breedon are currently seeking a Mobile Maintenance Tradesperson to join our team in the North of England Region, reporting to the Area Maintenance Manager.
We are open to considering individuals with the following skills and experience:
- Plant Fitter (either fixed or mobile plant within heavy industry)
- Maintenance Electrician
- Auto Electrician
- Fabricator
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- A key member of the area maintenance team, the role will involve carrying out corrective and preventative maintenance on static and mobile plant and equipment, as well as responding to emergency plant breakdowns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES:
- Meet the requirements of GB Materials Maintenance Approach to optimise and ensure effective management of maintenance within business objectives.
- You will also have involvement with fabrication, overhauling and repairing of plant and equipment.
- Other duties will include ensuring plant and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose, and working together with the Maintenance Manager to allow jobs to run smoothly.
- Experience of working with heavy plant and qualifications within the relevant field to support experience.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Maintenance Tradesperson, ideally with an industrial background. You will be able to work with minimal supervision through analysis, judgement and initiative to resolve issues in a safe, time oriented and cost-effective manner.
