Breedon are currently seeking an Electrician, primarily based at our Cwt y Bugail Quarry in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales. You will ideally have a ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and work experience in a heavy industrial environment, such as a quarry. Other requirements are as follows:
* Time served/apprentice trained Electrical Engineering craftsperson
* Multi-skilled engineering maintenance
* PLC and VSD Experience (desirable)
* Good working knowledge of electrical LV isolation
* 17th Edition Wiring regulation BS7671 Certificate
* Good understanding of Electrical maintenance methods & techniques
* Knowledge & experience of medium/high voltage networks including switching methods
* A working knowledge of BS7671 inspection & testing - qualifications in this area would be desirable
* A sound working knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment regulations
* Computer literate
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude
* Good team player
You will be required to be flexible in duties undertaken, carrying out other tasks on this site or at other sites in the local area, including our minerals plant in Blaenau Ffestiniog.
