Protocol are proud to be working with an independent training provider offering bespoke leadership apprenticeship programmes and specialising in leadership qualifications. We are looking for an experienced quality coordinator on a full-time and permanent based based in Durham.
About the role:
As quality coordinator, you will be responsible for the effective development of all aspects of quality assurance that raise the standards of the apprenticeship learning experience. Embedding an ethos of high standards and continuous improvement within a team of assessors that sustains the organisations vision and values.
Role responsibilities:
* Ensuring the organisation is protected against all forms of malpractice and unsuitable assessment methods.
* Liaising with awarding bodies to support the management of our organisational quality assurance processes.
* Carry out observations of teaching and learning and coordinate standardisation meetings as per organisational and QA requirements.
* Maintain a sampling plan inline our organisation sampling strategy to guarantee internal quality inspection is carried out to formative, interim and summative requirements.
* Ensure all related documentation at specified sites/ locations meet the needs of Awarding and funding bodies.
* Ensure candidate information is stored correctly and meets the Data Protection Act.
* Regularly maintain your own CPD with the support of the management team and comply with all company policies and procedures.
* Support strategic planning and key performance indicators that raise the standards of the apprenticeship learning experience embedding an ethos of high standards and continuous improvement within a team of assessors.
* Assist in running standard reports as required using a number of company systems and ensure errors from validation reports and other returns are accurately corrected.
* Respond to queries and enquiries from staff and support staff.
* Undertake other duties as requested by the line manager in line with the grade remit and scope of the post.
Key performance indicators:
* Quality improvement responsibility.
* Focus, plan, implement and evaluate all areas for improvement relative to the successful delivery of the organisations funding contracts.
* Embed key performance criteria that meets the Education inspection framework.
* Contribute to an Ofsted grading of good.
* Undertake one day vocational competence update per year.
* CPD updates per month.
* Successful implementation of company's OTLA strategy.
* Generation of individual assessor development plan.
* Raise timely progression and achievement of your learners to 80%.
