Gleeson Recruitment Group currently recruiting for a Payroll and HR officer to join a business based in Hull. We are looking for a super star individual who has a strong background in payroll! Ideally you will have at least 5 years experience within payroll and will have worked in a large company operating a payroll of 1,000 employees.
Our client is a friendly, down to earth client with a little bit of a creative edge! This is a brilliant opportunity to work with brilliant people! This role will be a stand alone Payroll and HR officer role. It is essential that the successful individual is great with numbers and dealing with sensitive information.
The role will be 70% payroll and when required you will need to support the wider HR team.
The Role
- Gather information on hours works for all employees
- Running the UK monthly payroll (700 employees)
- Coordinate annual UK merit award processes and payments
- Onboard new employees using the HR system
- Assist with payroll and HR projects
Ideal Person
- 5 years experience within a payroll position
- Strong understanding of accounting and payroll best practices
- Familiar with bureau payroll services and HRIS
- Good knowledge of HR processes
- Attention to detail
- Proactive individual
