Quality Engineer / Test Certification Engineer
We have an opportunity for a Test Certification Engineer with experience in engineering and materials /chemical analysis, mechanical testing / conditions and non destructive testing.
The role:
· Assessing and interpreting customers' orders and material / testing requirements into 3.1 / 3.2 Certification, Non Destructive testing. (UT/ MPI/DPI/PMI)
· Inspecting incoming materials to purchase orders and material specifications.
· Preparing EN10204 3.1 & EN10204 3.2 Material Certification for the company's products.
· Placing purchase orders for raw materials and inspection/testing services.
· Maintaining traceability of incoming, stock and outgoing material.
· Supporting and constructively challenging production & management.
· Active member of business development projects.
· Taking telephone and email enquiries / orders.
· Cover essential administrative operational tasks in time of sickness and holidays.
This is a key appointment, and you will be expected to work closely with other Managers within the company to ensure we meet or exceed our business goals.
On the job training will be provided and you will be both supported and challenged.
Salary : Competitive plus company pension / Westfield scheme.
Based upon 36.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 Friday 8:30 - 1600. The role is open to full time individuals or reduced hours depending on circumstance.
