What does the role entail?
As an Auto Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for fitting, repairing, installing and integrating a wide range of enhanced professional electrical and electronical systems. You will also be at the forefront of developing new electrical and electronical solutions for all vehicles. Other main duties will include the general maintenance of automotive electrical systems on a day-to-day basis being able to swiftly identify any faults or issues and swiftly rectifying these. Other duties may include regular training to keep up with the varying demands on the business. Keeping up to date with all health and safety regulations is integral to this role. Finally, you will be willing to obtain the relevant security clearance for the role. No two days will be the same within this role, it is an exciting opportunity and will be a permanent role for the right candidate.
What skills will you have?
To be considered for this Auto Electrician role you will have an automotive background within the electrical industry. You will be able to thoroughly read and interpret electrical wiring plans and diagrams. You will be able to competently modify electrical circuits and build and install a wide range of cable systems. You will be able to swiftly identify any faults found in electrical systems and rectify as necessary. You will have experience removing all vehicle compounds that can house electronic systems. A good standard of written and verbal communication will be required to succeed within this role and a clear intention to work well within a team to achieve group results. On top of being a skilled automotive electrical engineer you will be a forward thinker possessing great intuitive with being able to get stuck into all tasks.
