Job Title: Project Engineer- Decarbonisation

Location: Agile working with reporting base in Solihull

Business Area: Kier Utilities Decarbonisation Solutions (KUDS)

Contract: Permanent- Full Time

Kier Utilities Decarbonisation Solutions (KUDS) is a new business unit within the much wider Kier business where we will aim to offer a turnkey solution for electric vehicle charging point infrastructure design and installation services, combined with a growing menu of net zero infrastructure solutions.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join this team, to complete the surveys for decarbonisation solutions and oversee an element of production. Initially this role will be supporting the EV charging units, but also will assist our design team in producing designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and enhance electrical systems and components, whilst implementing and complying with Kier's Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Inspect, test and diagnose faults on electrical systems
  • Complete surveying work and report back to the client
  • Assist in the planning of work on site and completing relevant audits
What do we need from you?

As an experienced individual in decarbonisation, you will hold a qualification of Electrical Installation C&G 2360 & Inspection, Testing & Electrical Installations C&G 2391 or equivalent. You will be a good communicator, be an excellent critical thinker and problem-solving ability.
