Interior Design Project Manager Job in Atlanta, Georgia

Interior Design Project Manager Job with a leading commercial architectural and design firm, working from their Atlanta office! The ideal candidate for this position will be a technically-focused interior designer with a background in workplace and commercial design, able to lead projects and mentor junior members of the team.

This well-established architecture and design firm has been providing services to the commercial sectors for over 80 years. Projects range across workplace, healthcare, education, and aviation, to name a few. The team of 600+ are spread across 12 offices, within multiple states in the US, Asia and Europe.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage all stages of the design process across the project life cycle
  • Concept design and creative proposal development
  • Overseeing and inspection/completion of construction documentation
  • Liaise with contractors and clients; including delivering presentations/pitches and managing relationships
  • Contract administration
  • Management of project budgets, fees, and schedules
  • Team leadership

Required Skills & Experience

  • CIDA Accredited and Registered Interior Designer
  • 8+ years' experience in commercial, workplace or education projects
  • Experience managing project fees and schedules
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Strong technical skills and work examples to support this
  • Team management experience
  • Client-facing experience
