Head of Customer Care Job in Plymouth
I have a Head of Customer Care job with a top 10 housebuilder based in Plymouth. My client is looking for someone who is either an experienced Head of Customer Care or a Customer Care Manager looking to step up. The role is offering up to £60,000 + £6,400 Car allowance/Company car + 20% bonus.
As one of the biggest housebuilders in the UK, our client has over 5,000 employees across 30 office locations. This 5* housebuilder is looking for someone who is experienced in new homes customer care to come in and manage the customer care department for the region. You will be organising the team to make sure high levels of service are provided and customers' needs are met effectively and efficiently. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director for the region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the customer care team and drive for excellent customer satisfaction
- Ensure the service is provided within company guidelines, group standards and procedures for customer care
- Participate in local strategic thinking as a brand ambassador
- Make sure that the customers' experience is central to your decision making
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Any customer care issues are minimised and handled effectively
- Support the wider team to drive the companies' standards
- Responsible for all stage 1 customer care complaints
- Drive for the resolution of complaints to ensure customer satisfactions
- Mentor and support your team to drive NHBC standards to the forefront of what they do
- Utilise and update the systems to make sure the customer care team are working in a timely and effective manner
- Responsible for health and safety procedures
- Build strong relationships with Sales, Commercial, Construction and Technical departments to ensure support is given when needed for customers
- Attend weekly customer care meetings with the Managing Director to raise any issues
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of managing high performing customer care teams
- Great record in customer service
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication
- Have a good understanding of business requirements and brand position
- Demonstrate an ability to learn different systems
- General understand on how to use all Microsoft systems
- Thrive in a busy fast paced environment
- Experience with previous housebuilders preferred
