Assistant Production Manager - Breedon Group
- South Wales and South West England area, including Gloucestershire and Cardiff.
Following an internal promotion, we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our ready-mix concrete operations team as an Assistant Production Manager covering sites across our South Wales and South West England area, including Gloucestershire and Cardiff.
As an Assistant Production Manager you will primarily support our two Production Managers; you'll be collaborative, focused on building strong interdepartmental relationships. You will have an excellent knowledge of health and safety as you'll support in all aspects of manufacturing and production of readymix concrete; you will also be responsible for all aspects of quality, material management and support of dispatch, so industry experience is essential.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Raising of order numbers
- Maintaining plant documentation in accordance with standards and permit conditions
- Delivering toolbox talks
- Attending audits by external acquisition bodies
- Occasional operation of a 4 wheeled loading shovel
- Training and mentoring of new team members
