Civil Engineer

Location:?Speke, Liverpool - This is an agile role where you will be based out of the Liverpool area, with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites.

Business Area:?Kier Construction - Design and Building Services

Contract:?Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Kier Construction are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Design & Business team in Liverpool!

Key Responsibilities

An experienced Civil Engineer is required to join our award winning Civil and Structural Engineering Team in Liverpool. The Civil Engineer's purpose will be to design, specify and detail the civil engineering requirements of our Civil and Structural Engineering team's building projects, working with support provided primarily by our Principal Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will be required to design building and car park/road drainage and SUDS systems and to prepare flood risk assessments. The Civil Engineer will also be required to design road and car park construction, retaining walls and other external works structures and features to current British Standards and Building Regulations and Planning legislation.

What we need from you??

We would like you to have BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering. Experience of designing building and car park/road drainage and SUDS systems to CIRIA 753 guidance within a professional Civil and/or Structural Engineering design office environment. Experience using Innovyze Microdrainage design software. Experience of preparing flood risk assessment reports for new building projects or site redevelopments.
