Development Manager Job in Cornwall

My client currently has a Development Manager job available in Cornwall. This regional housebuilder is looking for 2 Development Managers with volume house building experience to join their growing business which covers Cornwall and Devon. My client is open to speaking with Development Managers, Land Managers or Planning Managers.

As the successful Development Manager, you'll be involved in the land acquisition through to planning and design before handing the development over to the technical team. This regional house builder is looking to build circa 250 units per year with development sizes ranging from 25 to 150 units across Cornwall and Devon. These developments will be a mixture of build for sale and build for rent, these are managed by their own lettings business.

Role & Responsibilities

- Provide support & assistance to Land in preparation of early feasibility studies

- Manage the design process

- Manage the planning application process

- Manage external consultants

- Appoint external consultant and manage

- Assist in the negotiation of buying land

- Attend meetings with all stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience as a volume housebuilding

- Ideally a relevant degree

- Experience in land acquisition

What you get back
