We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as Local and Strategic Highways.
We are now recruiting for a GIS Development Delivery Manager to join our Highways team in Birmingham or Exeter to provide high level analysis and processing of data from all areas of the business and display outcomes in meaningful and understandable ways, such as on maps, graphs, charts and spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities
As GIS Manager, you will manage, design and develop systems automate repetitive tasks and link internal systems. Assist the Head of GIS & Data Systems in progressing, adopting and developing current BIM standards and move towards a CDE. Manage and oversee the operational team of GIS officers, undertake audits of work and ensure department operates effectively. Motivate, coach and train team helping to provide a positive and productive work environment. Constantly innovate and structure a forward program for the future, utilising all cutting-edge hardware and software to ensure Kier maintains its place at the forefront of the industry.
We are seeking candidates who:
- Knowledge and gained experience of the main management systems & processes used within a similar business
- Advanced experience in a GIS role using ArcGIS Enterprise Infrastructure and ESRI products
- Competent in scripting processes within the ESRI environment
- Able to demonstrate the ability to deliver cradle to grave GIS solutions and proactively solve problems.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A company car or cash allowance
