Customer Care Manager Job in Plymouth

I have Customer Care Manager job with a top 10 housebuilder based in Plymouth. My client is looking for someone with excellent customer service skills who has experience managing a customer care team with a housebuilder. The role is offering £40,000 + £3,900 car allowance + 10% bonus.

As one of the biggest housebuilders in the UK, our client has over 5,000 employees across 30 office locations. This 5* housebuilder is looking for someone who is experienced in new homes customer care to come in and manage a team of eight coordinators and one senior coordinator for the region. You will be organising the team to make sure high levels of service are provided and customers' needs are met effectively and efficiently. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Customer Care for the region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the running of the department
  • Make sure customers receive expert levels of customer service
  • Report repeated issues so they are resolved quickly
  • Have great relationships with other departments
  • Review work that is being carried out by technicians
  • Guide the coordinators development so they keep learning
  • Follow up on any reports to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Assist with defect inspections
  • Attend meetings that are necessary for your performance
  • Undertake additional tasks that may be required
  • Deal with customer complaints ensuring they are dealt with

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with managing a team
  • Previous of dealing with customers in a housebuilding environment
  • Full awareness of NHBC standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Great technical knowledge of the housebuilding market
  • Computer literate in Microsoft office
  • Have a great mentality of working within a team
  • Proactive problem solver and decision maker
