We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as Local and Strategic Highways.
We are now recruiting for a HGV Driver for either a spray tanker, mechanical sweeper, or winter gritter, who will report to the site Foreman. The successful post holder will be expected to work nationally as part of a team to ensure safety of site, self and colleagues, quality of work and production.
Key Responsibilities
Be flexible and carry out duties required of you, for which you are trained and considered competent. Establish good working relationships with the Foreman, Agent/Supervisor and other work colleagues. Take ownership and communicate any issues on site. Carry out your responsibilities in an efficient and safe manner
Whilst driving/operating vehicles or plant, ensure all daily checks are carried out and recorded. Ensure that whilst driving you do so in a safe and courteous manner and within legal requirements at all times. Maintaining written and electronic records
We are seeking candidates who?
- Demonstrate written and numerical skills
- Hold a full Category C UK driving licence
