Site Manager Job in Ipswich
A new Site Manager Job working on a residential development in Ipswich
I have a Site Manager role in Ipswich with a Top 10 housebuilder. Our client is a leading housing developer who have been providing top of the range developments and sustainable communities for the past 55 years. Building over 3000 homes a year and employing over 800 people this housebuilder is one to be involved in.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete weekly management reports that include the detailing around the progress against programme and actions to recover any time lost
- Have the responsibility for delivering the construction operations on a particular development
- Conduct site safety inductions of all new site personnel
- Making sure the statutory safety forms are completed on a weekly basis
- Ensure all operatives have the correct certification to carry out specific duties
- Require a specific quality of work and make sure standards are not dropped
- Arrange and attend sub-contract meetings regularly to ensure they are complying with the contract programme
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Site Manager with recognised housebuilders
- Proven experiences working with multi-phase, mixed-use projects
- Possessing the ability to manage multiple sub-contractors on site
- Exceptional time management skills
- Able to build work relationships and can engage with all levels of staff
- Optimal Health and Safety focus with the ability to promote a safe working environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- CSCS Black Card
- SMSTS
