Architectural Designer Job in Sutton - Surrey

Our client has an Architectural Designer job working on decorative plasterwork in a range of highly prestigious projects. This role would suit a Creative Designer with a passion for classical detailing.

The company is one of the world's leading designers of architectural decorative plasterwork for prestigious projects such as royal palaces, exclusive residences, luxury retail stores and 5-star hotels.
The business is built upon quality and service it offers clients.
Due to continued success, they are now seeking an Architectural Designer to join the team on a full time basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for managing the design process of our architectural plasterwork design concepts and visions through sketches and CAD drawings
  • Presenting their decorative plasterwork ideas to clients in a persuasive manner- Preparing fabrication drawings for approval prior to manufacture
  • Coordinating our designs with other interfacing trades' designers
  • Managing design development programmes and meeting deadlines for design elements.
  • Speaking with clients and production teams.
  • Coordinating our designs with other interfacing trades' designers

Required Skills & Experience

  • Creative designer with passion for interior detailing
  • Pro-active with a desire to learn and improve
  • Ability to manage design process on multiple projects
  • The ability to express design concepts via sketching
  • Highly Skilled in the use of AutoCAD is essential
  • Experience in UK residential and or retail projects.
  • Knowledge of classical architecture would be highly beneficial.
  • Good communications skills.

What you get back

  • £30,000 - £40,000
