A Mechanical QA/QC Inspector will enjoy working for a well established contractor in the construction of a Hyperscale Data Centre in Belgium. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work for a market leading company, who have over 50 years of experience in complex engineering projects. You will be working closely with the mechanics and overlooking the quality of their work. This project will allow you join one of the most reputable contractors in the industry, with a really interesting project pipeline in the next few years.
This employer is widely respected in the Data Centre industry, working on a regular basis with some of the biggest clients in the world. With their exciting project pipeline over the next few years, this is a brilliant opportunity to become an established Mechanical QA/QC inspector within the space.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carry out weekly reports and feed back to line manager.
- Attending daily and weekly meetings.
- Manage and co-ordinate site activities working alongside other trades.
- Prepare work in advance for the upcoming weeks.
- Ensure the quality of work is at a high level.
- Make sure sub-contractors are being as efficient as possible.
- Keep in constant contact with line manager about what's going on.
- Ensure the deliveries onsite are to the agreed specifications.
- Store all delivered materials in a safe and secure manner.
- Review all sub-contractors plant and access equipment, and make sure all is certified and in good working condition.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant 3rd level mechanical qualification is essential.
- Good English and comprehension skills required.
- Previous experience in a similar role. Must have been in a mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
- Previous experience in data centres is preferred.
- Well organised, great communication and brilliant time management skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS word and Excel is essential.
