Business Unit: Utilities

We are now recruiting for a General Operative to join our Utilities team in Exeter to deliver their expertise to help with all the jobs and tasks given to them. Be a part of the future because Kier puts you first.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry out general construction work as instructed by the Team Leader and/or FLM.
  • Operate and maintain at least two pieces of plant, drive vans, pickup trucks and/or lorries above 7.5 tonnes and relevant attachments.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant Safety, Health and Environmental legislation, business policy & procedure and local instruction & guidance.
  • To ensure all timesheets and reporting mechanisms are filled out and submitted each day.
We are seeking candidates who:

  • Ideally experience within a similar role
  • Driving licence (required)
  • Masonry experience
  • Street works card
