We are now recruiting for a Document Controller to join our Major Projects team in Bournemouth to support the pre-construction team in the management of documents as part of the tendering process, as well as providing admin support.

Key Responsibilities:

In this exciting Document Controller role, you will be working as a collaborative member of the Kier team, sharing knowledge and best practice to the wider Kier team and maintaining responsibility of your own performance by continually developing your skills and knowledge. The Document Controller will manage and maintain the Document Management System (DMS) on the BIM360 Platform, as well as implement and maintain document control processes and procedures. It will be your responsibility to agree a Document Controllers Task List with the project teams and carry out actions accordingly, along side assisting Site Clash Detection Manager and U & A Manager with internal document review including collating & coordinating response. You will provide ongoing training and support on the DMS system including current & new employees and sub-contractors, as well as working with the BIM Team and BIM360 developers to keep up to date with new releases to the DMS and keep access and security groups up to date.

What do we need from you?

We are looking for someone with experience in working with Document Management Systems (DMS). You will also need to have exceptional knowledge of Micro-software systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of acrobat editing software. The Document Controller will have knowledge of Microsoft Teams, One Drive and SharePoint, as well as an understanding of Data protection. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive and self-motivated, who has strong attention to detail and a good Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
